I've seen alot of artist making scrabble tile pendants and thought I would like to try it. I didn't use scrabble tiles. I used wood shapes that you can buy at any craft store. It was really easy and fun. I also didn't use Diamond Glaze, because I can't find it anywhere in town. So I just used Mod Podge and a glossy sealer. I will be ordering some Diamond Glaze and maybe some resin and give that a try. This is what I have so far

If it's not one thing it's another. I was in the middle of making bags for my shop when I dicided to finally have my wisdom pulled. It was hurting for a long time but was always to chicken to have them removed. I went in on the 19th and the oral surgeon decided that the two bottom wisdoms had to come out. The surgery went well, but man was I in pain. My right side of my face is still trying to heal. It turns out they had to cut into the bone to get the tooth out. No wonder my jaw hurts so bad. To top it off I couldn't eat for about 4 days so my body is still trying to catch up. I still feel really weak and dizzy. The best part though is that I lost 5 pounds and I never have to do this again.

Here are a couple of bags I've been working on. I made them to be used as a gadget case, but it's so handy you can use it for anything. Just clip it on your belt loop and you're off. Great for those shopping days when you want to carry very little. On sale now at http://www.thewishingstar.etsy.com/ $10 each

Wow! I had so many plans to start with new items and a new shop but I had to put everything on hold for a while. My family and I moved in with my parents to help them out with fixing up the house and also to help financially. The economy is getting really bad and this will help everyone out. Hopefully once we get settled in I can continue with my new items and shop. Thanks for the patience everyone.

I've always been a huge Beatles fan and then I heard a musical was made using their music called Across The Universe. I didn't get to see it on time at the theaters(to much going on). I finally saw it yesterday and I fell in love. The acting and singing was great and they used the best songs to fit the movie. It make me sad watching it. It was like it was made for todays events. I highly recommend this movie. You'll love it.

It's spring time and this means it's time for picnics, spring cleaning and starting something new. I hope to have new items in my shop soon. The week seems to go by so quick there's no time to make anything. With all that said hopefully by the end of April I'll have my new shop SunShine Daisies open for business. This shop will be a collection of handcrafted cloth dolls and accessories. I'm working on patterns now and I'm very excited to have created my own patterns. I hope to one day convert both shops into one to make things easier not only for me but for everyone.
